Rules

Rules.

The rules that apply in the app, at club evenings and in your dealings with members you met through the club. You read and accept them before paying, and again every season.

01

Ten rules

This is the short text you see in the app. The sections below open each one up.

  1. 01Nothing you see here leaves the room. Taking another member’s proof, profile, message or location outside the club means suspension, and expulsion if deliberate.
  2. 02Proof is real. No staged scenes, forged documents, faked locations or borrowed identities.
  3. 03One person, one account. No sharing accounts, no proof on someone else’s behalf.
  4. 04Your safety comes before points. Filming while driving, speeding, heavy drinking, dangerous sport or illegal acts can never be proof.
  5. 05Other people’s privacy is your responsibility. Do not feature people without consent, children, documents or number plates.
  6. 06Write with respect. No harassment, pestering, threats, insults or discrimination. A first message is always a request.
  7. 07The Salon is not a marketplace. No unsolicited selling, investment pitches, mass messages or advertising.
  8. 08Invitations are free. They are never sold, and nothing is taken in return.
  9. 09A report is not a weapon. Bad-faith reports are sanctioned.
  10. 10Follow the law of the country you are in.

02

Prohibited content

None of the following may appear in a proof, profile, message, group name or anything else: nudity or sexual content; violence, threats, blackmail or hate speech; visible drunkenness, drinking contests or drugs; contact with wild animals or weapons outside a range; speedometers, filming from the wheel or traffic offences; close-up faces without consent, or children’s faces; boarding-pass barcodes, booking codes, ID, cards or a home address; fake, AI-generated or someone else’s images; gambling, betting or raffles; illegal goods or services. Local bans in the country you are in (drones, military zones, photographing people without consent) are also shown on the capture screen.

03

How we filter

Every proof, profile text, group name and challenge text passes an automatic filter before it is published. In images, the faces of non-members, documents, barcodes and number plates are blurred. Low-risk everyday proofs may be approved by an AI-assisted system; rare and legendary challenges, high-risk and reported content are always reviewed by a person. A random 10% of automatic approvals are checked by a person afterwards. AI alone can never decide that something is fraud.

04

Reporting and blocking

Every proof, profile, message and group has Report and Block. Safety reports (stalking, threats, physical danger) are handled around the clock with a first human response within one hour; all others within 24 hours. The person reported is never told who reported them. Someone you block can no longer see your profile or proofs or message you, and is not told they were blocked.

05

The ladder of sanctions

A sanction starts on a step that matches how serious the breach is. Harassment, persistent stalking and leaking start at suspension; selling an invitation and violence mean expulsion straight away.

  1. 01A note on your record.
  2. 02A written warning.
  3. 03Removal of points or a proof.
  4. 04Suspension: up to 30 days; challenges, messages and visibility are closed. If it proves unjustified, your membership is extended by the same time.
  5. 05Expulsion.

06

Fraud

The fraud mark (“Unsealed”) is given only on concrete evidence, with the approval of two staff members, and after you have had 48 hours to respond. It shows on your profile for that season and the next, you leave the ranking and your sponsor’s trust score drops. A second fraud means expulsion.

07

Decisions and appeals

Suspension and expulsion are decided by two staff members together. You can appeal a decision on a proof once within 7 days; a reviewer who did not make the first decision looks at it. You can appeal a suspension or expulsion within 14 days of being told; the committee decides. There is no refund after expulsion for breaking the rules.

08

Challenges, points and rewards

Taking part needs an active membership; the minimum age to apply to the club is 21. Challenges cost nothing extra and no advantage can be bought. Points are calculated on the server only: base × verification × originality × timing + witness bonus; generosity challenges carry 1.5 times the base. No score grows in line with the money spent. There is no element of chance. Rewards are never cash and cannot be turned into money: a badge, a title, access (a table at the closing night, an extra invitation) and a place in the List. Rewards are announced at the start of each season; they cannot be sold or transferred.

09

Seasons and the List

A season lasts 91 days: 12 weeks of play and one week of ceremony. Badges are awarded at the end of each season; the List is published at the end of the year. Appearing in the List is optional and off by default; you can choose your initials instead of your name.

10

Changes and contact

If the rules change, we tell members at least 14 days before the change applies; scoring rules never change during a running season. Support: Settings → Support in the app. Email: door@richlyme.com.
